Nebulous Era

We extracted the black gold
From the entrails of the world.
We gave it thousands of forms
Thousands of appearances and colours.

The vibrant demon is parading at the ocean's surface
Spreading his shadow as a parasite.

The consequences of our actions make my head spin.
I feel attracted by the abyss that we created.

We have been given the power to create
Yet we give birth to dead, empty shells.
When will we escape our shrouded cave
To appreciate the endless intricacy of the rose
And the branch, that will blossom
And perish in the same breathe?

Nature is choking because of our blind extortion.
The gift bestowed unto us
Has been taken for granted
But with or without us, it will keep flourishing.

The cycle is prepared to end
Under our feet, a new world is ready to surface
It suffocates beneath the cities.

But it will endure through these times of neglect
It will swallow the angular shapes,
Rising from the concrete.

The nebulous era is collapsing.
And the rebirth is looming.

I don't love it. At all. There's a lot missing here, the singer goes out of tune lots of times, the beat is random every 2 and 4 and some study is required. The guitarist tries everything, but he's not a saint and can't do miracles. In the end it sucks, The video with the reviews on their channelwas really a poor man's move considering the overall album quality, so they deserve this review., "Broken Wings" is the least worse, at least there are more guitars than vocals. Clean recording though. Marcello Caruso
